Joseph released all his brothers but Simeon to return to Canaan and retrieve Benjamin

“Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, ‘Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one so discerning and wise as you. You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.’ ” – Genesis 41:39-40

14. What changes do you see in the attitudes of Joseph’s brothers? The brothers remembered Joseph, and they way they had treated him.

15. How did Jacob respond to his sons’ report? Jacob see that Simeon has been taken, and Joseph was gone too. And now they wanted to take away the youngest son, Benjamin too. He did not allow Benjamin to go.

16. What truths about God help you respond rightly in tense or emotional conditions? God’ plan and timing is perfect, even though we can hardly comprehend, and we will be impatient during desperate times.
