Summary of Genesis 24:28-51
Laban, Rebekah’s brother, saw the jewelry and heard what had happened, invited the servant to rest in their house and have food. The servant shared about his journey, the message from Abraham, and his prayer to God. After hearing what was shared, Laban and Bethuel agreed to let Rebekah go and become Isaac’s wife.
Laban and Bethuel answered, “This is from the Lord; we can say nothing to you one way or the other. Here is Rebekah; take her and go, and let her become the wife of your master’s son, as the Lord has directed.”
